Where and when to celebrate Bonfire Night 2019
Every year in the UK on 5th November, firework and bonfire displays can be seen all around, as people celebrate Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes Night. The history behind the event is interesting – more info here. The night now is seen an opportunity to get outside and have some fun as the darker evenings draw in! Shaldon Bonfire and Fireworks

A great free firework and bonfire display set with the river Teign as a picturesque backdrop.
Westpoint Charity Fireworks Display
When? Sunday 3rd November, Gates open 5:30pm
Where? Westpoint Arena, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DJ
How much? Advance tickets £6, £9 on the door
The event claims to be the "largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon" along with food stalls and a fun fair. Tickets are cheaper in advance (they can be purchased from various locations in Exeter – click here for details).
Sherwell Valley School Bonfire Night
When? Tuesday 5th November, gates open 5:00pm
Where? Sherwell Valley Primary School, Hawkins Avenue, Torquay, TQ2 6ES
How much? £4
Known as one of the best firework displays in the bay, the event also offers a range of food stalls. Please note, the event is ticket only - advance tickets available here.
Watcombe Primary School Bonfire and Fireworks
When? Tuesday 5th November, from 5:30pm
Where? Watcombe Primary School Moor Lane, Torquay TQ2 8NU
How much? £4
A bonfire and firework display taking place on Tuesday night that's easy to get to using the Stagecoach 31 bus.
