Aaand relax! July is finally here and it’s brought the glorious sunshine we were all hoping for!
How does it go? Summer, summer, summertime… time to sit back and rewind! But, if that’s not for you then, of course, there are plenty of things to do whilst soaking up the summer rays and making unforgettable memories in Summer 2019!

As Glastonbury Festival shows the world how it’s done in their 49th year, festival season has well and truly swept the nation! Luckily for us, the beautiful city of Exeter is no exception to this, as Exeter Festival is a three-day summer extravaganza event, equipped for all ages! Explore every corner of the globe, by listening to Exeter Festivals Jazz Band, inspired by the street bands of New Orleans whilst sampling some of the finest fresh Egyptian food the South West has ever seen!

Teignmouth Airshow 2019
5th July – 7th July
Exciting times ahead as Teignmouth boasts its first-ever air show! Boasting a weekend of family-friendly activities, the main attraction, aka, the airshow, will take place on Saturday, 6th July! The skies will be alive with the likes of Spitfires and Typhoons, so be sure to head down to Teignmouth for the historic event!
Into the Mix – Torre Abbey
A brand new spectacle is coming to the Bay this summer! Into the Mix, held at the impressive Spanish Barn at Torre Abbey in Torquay, is a FREE, inclusive event, aiming to bring together eclectic people and communities alike, celebrating the arts, music, food, stalls and much more!
Running from 10:30 AM to 17:30 PM and featuring two stages of live music and entertainment, you’ll be able to boogie on down to the likes of Latin inspired Wendy and the Coconuts, to Torbay’s own Folk Choir!
Paignton Festival (Torbay Carnival Week)
27th July – 4th August
An occasion enjoyed by all ages, Paignton Festival is back for a week-long of fun celebrations! On Saturday, 27th July be sure to gaze into the night’s sky to catch Paignton Festival Firework display and party the night away at The Party on the Green. Aswad, one of Britain’s best-loved reggae bands is headlining the music this year, with No. 1 hit’s, “Don’t Turn Around” and “Shine”. On Wednesday, 31st July, join the hundreds of spectators watching an array of colourful floats and performers at Torbay Carnival Procession.
Don't worry if none of this takes your pick, however. We know we've said it before, but, Devon boasts some of the most stunning coastlines in the world! So why not head down to one of our many beaches and just... relax?
