German apprentice excels in Exeter

This weekend we say farewell and good luck to German apprentice Etienne, who’s been with us in Devon since the beginning of January. Etienne brought with him studies and practical experience in metalwork and we’re delighted to hear the work placement has been a success. Working at Metalwork Solutions Ltd in Exeter, we were hoping for a good fit, but the feedback Etienne received was exemplary.

Managing Director, Adrian, had this to say: “Etienne is a shining example of how the work placement system should operate and The Training Partnership should be extremely proud to have placed him. I hope that upon his return to Germany and his ongoing career in the family business, Etienne can draw upon his experience here and use that to develop what I am sure will be a successful future in the industry. I would have no hesitation in offering Etienne a full-time role in our business such is my respect for the work he has completed for us during his stay.”

From the first day Etienne arrived, he’s been bright, enthusiastic and it’s also been a fantastic having him around at our social evenings and weekly meetings – We hope you made lasting friendships and discovered everything the area has to offer.

We’d like to say thanks to all the team at Metalwork Solutions Ltd for providing a great opportunity and very best of luck for the future to Etienne!
