It may still be November but now that Exeter's lights are on display, surely we're allowed to talk about Christmas! Over the coming days and weeks, there's a variety of festive events taking place across Devon – here’s a pick of the best things to see and do:

A Christmas Carnival procession will make its way through the centre of Torquay, culminating with the Christmas light switch on. The Christmas carnival starts from Torquay Coach Station (next to the TTPL office) at 4:30pm and works its way to the Harbour.
Lanterns, Lights and ‘luminations

Brixham’s annual Christmas light switch on is always atmospheric with a lantern procession on the Harbour and fireworks. The Lantern procession starts at 4:45pm outside Rockfish on the harbour, followed by fireworks and light switch-on at 6pm
Exeter Christmas market and Princesshay late night shopping

In addition, late night shopping at Princesshay will take place every Thursday in the lead-up to Christmas, with shops opening until 9pm.
