Things to do this summer whatever the weather

Summer is set to return this weekend and when the sun shines, there’s endless places to visit and enjoy in Devon. But if the weather doesn’t quite go to plan, here are some ideas of things to do on a rainy day:

Bowling

Great for groups and good deals to be had in both Exeter and Torquay.

Climbing

Exeter Quay is home to the South West’s largest indoor climbing wall and Clip ‘n’ Climb offers a great variety of fun challenges that don’t require any previous experience.

Bygones

Based in St Marychurch, Bygones is a 3 floor British history museum complete with an indoor replica Victorian Street!

Exeter Museum

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum is a large, varied museum based in Exeter City Centre. Admission is free and there are often many temporary exhibitions and events.
